Large scale recruitment of Secondary teachers
The deadline for this first round of recruitment is now passed. We received a large number of applications, so we will get back to each applicant as soon as we can.
We will shortly publish the next round of applications, please check here regularly.

Further posts will be advertised in January/February 2017.
The school is multilingual. History and Geography are generally taught in French and German, although some will be in English initially. Other subjects other than languages are taught in English.
Languages are taught at various levels from beginners to the level of native speakers. Immersion in the language is used at all levels.
Teachers are expected to have a C2 level in the language of the subject.
Teachers should hold QTS from the UK or the equivalent from another EU state. Ideally language teachers would hold a teaching qualification from a country in which the language is officially spoken.
Applications are to be received by midnight on Monday, 28 November 2016, with interviews from 5 December. In view of the number of posts being opened, some interviews may take place immediately after the Christmas holiday.
Please submit your application form to Desi Correia, PA to the Principal with as subject "Application & the name of the post" (e.g. Application Geography in English) please.
Both full-time and part-time posts are avaiable and applications are considered from teachers who can combine subjects. Unless otherwise stated, the posts are permanent, subject to an initial probationary period.
Prior experience of the European Baccalaureate is an asset, but application are welcome from all suitably qualified teachers willing to embrace and to work for the vision of our school. Syllabuses of the European Schools may be viewed here, where you can filter by subject and language.
Europa School UK is unique as a UK state school in offering the European Schools’ curriculum and highly respected Baccalaureate.
In September 2017 the school will open a complete Secondary School, offering immediately the European Baccalaureate to the former pupils of the European School Culham.
Opening in 2012 Europa has already grown to a full Primary School, recently with three-form entry. The school has been consistently oversubscribed and plays a key role in offering a multilingual and multicultural education, with an emphasis also on science, well suited to the employment opportunities in Oxfordshire.
The centrepiece of the Secondary School will be the beautiful grade-II listed buildings of Culham College which has hosted a European School since 1978. Europa School inherits from its predecessor a history of preparing students for outstanding success at universities in the UK, throughout Europe and beyond.
If you have some availability on a regular basis, and you feel you can help our children in one of our 3 languages (native speaking level required), you will be very welcome in our school.
You will not supply a Teaching Assistant, but you will give an extra-help to pupils who need it, in little groups or one by one. We have seen numerous times how profitable it is for the children, both in terms of learning and for their self-confidence.
The teachers will guide you, and explain the tasks. It is very rewarding to see children that are focused, happy to work, and doing their best thanks to your help!
At the moment we are especially looking for English speaking volunteers, for reading and literacy.
